Vietnam Program
The Han-Schneider International Children’s Foundation is always on the lookout for children in need. When an opportunity arose to partner with another organization to allow us to reach more children we jumped at it. We partnered with the Tam Ky Project who has long ties to the Tam Ky region (approx. 500 miles south of Hanoi) of Vietnam. Through their various connections, we are able to reach 12 different schools and serve just under 1,800 children.
Initially, as with all of our programs, we will start with what we know best – food. As we get a better feel for the children, the communities and their needs we will look to expand the scope of our work.
Program Aspects
Initially each student will receive a meal a day under this new program. However, this will allow the schools to redirect funds to other enriching educational programs.
